I finally got some time to make a few cards for Operation Write Home even though I have not yet made out my personal Christmas cards!

Now just have to finish off some more valentines/ love cards, get my personal cards done and think about packing for the trip up to Michigan next week. I'll have to dig up some winter clothes since I have not been back there in the cold weather since I came to Florida almost 8 years ago.
Finally got some cards done this week, have not been feeling too creative this week.
Started getting out Christmas decorations the last couple days, just have to decorate the trees.

I had to work today until 6pm, but was able to have a Thanksgiving dinner with my parents after work since Mom did the cooking! We had a client bring the staff a turkey and all the trimmings from Boston Market- that was great, we all really appreciated their kindness.
No cards probably until the beginning of next week since I will be working all weekend.
Hard to believe it is only about a month to Christmas. We will be going up to Michigan to spend Christmas with my brother and his family. Hope for a white Christmas, but the one day is enough for me!

Last night I did a presentation to the pet co-op in the community where I live on common causes of poisonings in dogs and cats. There were about a 100 people there - I was surprised there were that many. I am glad it is over - speaking in front of a group was never a fun thing for me.
I was up late last night- well not really late for me- working on cards. Couldn't sleep well and was up at 6am after 3 hours of sleep. Good thing I didn't have to work tonight!. So I worked on more cards and have some to put up over at Operation Write Home.

Started on some valentines cards. Think I will watch OWH TV here shortly and then go to bed early!
I finally sent off my pictures for the Creatin' Contest at miniatures.com. Now just have to wait and see if the judges like it enough to give it a prize. I had fun making it anyway even if it doesn't win. I decided to build a Christmas store since our family has many good memories of going to Frankenmuth, Michigan and the Bronner's store.
I colored this image from Designed2Delight's digital stamp Catching Flakes. I used my copic markers BG 70, 72,75 and YG 91,93,95 and 97 on copic's Xpress blending paper. I am not sure I really like it, I may move the image to a larger card.
Since I was kind of bored tonight I thought I would start up a blog basically so I have a place to post cards I am making for Operation Write Home.
We'll see how it goes.
