So I received an honorable mention in the Creatin Contest at Miniatures.com. And Lori from Bronner's media relations posted about it on their Facebook page!

I have many great memories of visiting their store over the years and had a wonderful time creating this miniature.


Our friend Lynn Lawitzke received an honorable mention award in the 2012 Creatin' Contest by miniatures.com and Hobby Builders Supply. Lynn built a CHRISTmas Wonderland designed to resemble Bronner's. We are honored that Lynn modeled her entry after our store. Delightful Inspiration card challenge

Designed2Delight is now Delightful Inspiration-From the Heart, but the challenge is still the same! Rules are posted on the blog, but it's pretty simple. Use the image of the month ( you will have to purchase it if you are just starting), post it to their site by the deadline and get the next image for free!

This is the first time I have done any paper piecing for a card:

I haven't been making many cards lately, not feeling very motivated right now.

 I did get a pack of things and a letter together to send to my kids I sponsor through Compassion International :

                                                        This is Nelly, she is 8 and also lives in Ghana

I am pretty new to the sponsorship experience and am anxiously awaiting letters from them!
