Wow, it has been a year and 2 days since I last posted. In the last year I left my job in Florida and moved back to Michigan. Started a new job, survived on of the worst winters in the area, found a new house and moved. Just getting the craft room set up, will hopefully be stating to make cards again and work on the townhouse. We'll see!
Hello, I found your blog while searching real good toys east side townhouse. I absolutely love the addition of the basement. Would you be willing to share how you built it, measurements, type of wood, etc? I want to build this house, but only if I can add the basement. It really makes this house. :). Than you.
ReplyDeletePamela, I am glad you like the basement addition. I will get some measurements for you. Most of it was made with 1/4 inch plywood in areas that would be carrying the weight of the house. I used basswood and foamboard otherwise. I have more pictures, I will look for them and post them. It may take a few days, I am in the process of moving my parents.
DeleteOh thank you so much! This going to be my best dollhouse! I am retired now and have some time to spend with it. Tha basement is by far the best addition I have seen to this house! I wish real good toys would catch on and develope basements for their other houses :) thank you for your generosity in sharing!
ReplyDeleteLynn, no rush. I will dilegently check in. Thanks again :)
